O.K here's one from on old issue of EXCALIBUR that was actuallly choc-full of funny Fuzzy Elf quotes.

EXCALIBUR #31 Nightcrawler battles solo against the 'son of KRAKOA'...the living island that the X-Men battled waaaaay back in Giant sized X-Men #1.
Baby Krakoa is using dopplegangers of the X-Men made from it's body to fight Nightcrawler. After trashing a few of the fascimiles Kurt is temporarily grabbed from behind by a Nightcrawler double.....

Oh I hated that one, BAMF! It was totally out of character. A bit of wisecracking is allright, but this was worse than Spiderman on speed...Horrible art too.

I love this thread! While I don't have my list of fave quotes handy, here is an exchange that takes place in one of my X-Men fanfics:
(Nightcrawler and Nyx [new mutant] tussel and engage in a tickling duel)
WOLVERINE (smirking, bellows): Get 'im, darlin'! Tickle 'im hard enough, he'll wet his pants!
NIGHTCRAWLER (horrified): WHAT?!!

(Later, as Nyx and Nightcrawler watch Wolverine and Tigress ['nother new mutant] have a spat ...)
NIGHTCRAWLER: We have got to get them back together.
NYX: Seriously. Did you get the vacation house?
NIGHTCRAWLER (nodding): Ja. Operation Love Shack is underway.

Ya know ELWING Kurt really was a wisecracking fool in that EXCALIBUR ish! It was definitely a case of his lighter side taken almost to the extreme. Almost reminiscent of Kurt's characterization in the 1st NIGHTCRAWLER limited series!
